Palazzo Velabro, a member of Design Hotels, sits on one of the oldest crossroads in Rome, directly overlooking the Arch of Janus - a fourth-century monument. With a location that blends cultural prestige and architectural depth, the hotel offers a rare sense of presence and calm within the city’s historic heart.
RFCINEMA was engaged to tell this story through a cinematic lens - to create demand-driving assets that honoured the property’s deep-rooted heritage and modern aesthetic.

Over the course of the project, we shot a 4K landscape video, editorial photography, reels, and an Instagram carousel. The goal was to reveal the soul of the hotel — from its top suites to its open-plate bistro and interiors - while grounding the visuals in Roman context and proximity.
The work was met with glowing feedback from the Palazzo Velabro team. The content suite captured the attention of their internal team and wider audience, receiving multiple personal invitations to return and collaborate further,
